In August of 2015, IDM Photography LLC was selected to shoot, direct, produce, and edit a 20 minute documentary film on building construction in Nashville, TN for
Red Kap Clothing, a workwear company that was re-entering the retail workwear space after more than 20 years off
of retail shelves.
IDMP quickly picked RockHouse Motion
to be the first camera team while we handled second camera duties and still photography while on set. All of the footage was shot in 4K and delivered to the client on a very tight turnaround as the film was screened in front of 250 construction workers and their families in Nashville less than 2 weeks after it was shot. IDMP was in on the ground floor at the beginning of the project with the creative team from Friends & Neighbors by helping make creative and production decisions in pre-production while directing the cameras and helping facilitate interviews, and b-roll while on-site filming.
From the first take until the music was chosen and placed into the final edit, IDMP utilized their knowledge and experience of capturing a story from front to back to get the job done efficiently, effectively,
and on budget.
