Ian D. Merritt is a professional photographer on the north side of Chicago. Ian works full time as the staff photographer for Cars.com, a large and reputable automotive website. In addition, he freelances all over the Chicagoland area doing weddings, events, portraits, consumer and fine art photography. He is currently a member of the co-operative artist's group known as Images8 Gallery.
Ian's photographs regularly appear on Cars.com and the web site's blog, Kicking Tires. Ian's work has also appeared on Pitchforkmedia.com, in Dirt Rag magazine, in CMJ Monthly magazine, in the 2007 Illinois Action for Children Annual Report, and in The Raleigh Hatchet magazine.
